Işın Tuğrul, a 1985 graduate of Boğaziçi University's with a double major diploma on Economics and Political Science. She has 13 years of corporate banking experience in Yapı Kredi Bank where she held senior management positions, most recently as Executive Vice President responsible for Credits Management. Işın Tuğrul took on key responsibilities in Bank’s Great Transformation Journey, which transformed the bank and the entire Turkish banking sector and fundamentally affected the modernization and institutionalization of Turkish business world at the same time. She engaged directly in the projects such as; customer information systems, marketing, sales, CRM, profitability management, operational efficiency, organizational restructuring, human resources, credit risk management, etc. and during her entire banking life she spearheaded many product-system development efforts under her area of responsibility. She also covered a wide range of management topics with large groups as one of The Bank’s internal trainers.

Tuğrul left the finance sector and joined the founders of add Consulting in 2000. As a managing partner at add Consulting, she delivers consulting services based on her many years of experience she gained through successful projects in several sectors.

Işın Tuğrul speaks on topics relating to her fields of expertise at seminars and conferences conducted by various universities, public institutions and organizations, and the business sector, delivering trainings and as well volunteering in various non-governmental platforms.

Tuğrul worked as a lecturer at Doğuş University between 2002 and 2020,, teaching various banking, marketing, and human resources courses in addition to her consulting career.
